  4. Kaeshi Waza
  5. Freestyle: 5 attackers


Sandan (700 days)
Subject of exam to be determined by examiner at the time of the exam


  1. Glossary of Words of Attack

  2. Hanmi Handachi – Uke standing and Nage sitting
  3. Jotori – Jo techniques
  4. Katatetori – One hand grab to wrist
  5. Katatori – One hand grab to collar
  6. Morotetori – Two hands on one
  7. Ryotetori – Both wrists held from the front
  8. Shomenuchi – Strike to forehead
  9. Suwariwaza – Techniques from sitting
  10. Tachitori – Attack with sword
  11. Tantotori – Attack with knife
  12. Tsuki – Thrust or punch
  13. Ushiro Kubishime – Choke from behind and wrist grab
  14. Ushiro Ryokatatori – Both shoulders held from behind
  15. Ushiro Tekubitori – Both wrists held from behind
  16. Ushiro Waza – Any attack from behind
